I am old enough to remember when this came out, and yes, I do not like it. The singer is terrible. Some of their riffs are really cool, but for the most part, can't stand em.

sounds good, but it really sounds like they used Matt's back vocal layers on some parts. Stu is a great singer, none the less though. The guitar parts sound really, really lazy, too. I hate the guitarist, whatever the fuck his name is, so much I can never keep his name in my head.

Stu is still doing the Into Eternity gig. They are working on an album right now. So, he will be doing both. Stu will get very little credit from a lot of the "Matt leg humpers". Even if he does awesome on the new album, and sings the old stuff great, he will be criticized until the end of time. So ...

I finally received my copy. Listening now, I like it, a lot. I don't see where the Pantera correlation comes from?? The mix is really good, songs seem pretty strong. I really love the title track. I haven't picked a favorite yet.

I saw Warlock and Sanctuary open for Megadeth back in the 80's. Both bands were awesome, but Sanctuary blew my mind, had to have more of Warrel's singing and killer metal.

most of the growls in Into Eternity are done by the guitarist. Stu does them, too, but he does more the high stuff. I have seen them live 6 times, he delivers. He has incredible range. I think this is a good fit for Iced Earth.

I like Stu. He is a cool guy, too. I wish Into Eternity would get their shit together, no news at all about what is going on with them. I guess Stu couldn't wait any longer. I can't imagine Barlow either singing the finale to High Water Mark, which the highest emotional moment of the album. And we all know from A Question of Heaven or Come What May that Matt has no issue in bringing out emotional climaxes in songs..... I don't think he could sing High Water Mark. I saw...

makes you wonder. Record sales, also, help a band make money. What i mean is, if the band doesn't sell records, they may have lower attendance at concerts. I don't think The Crucible of Man did as well as Framing Armageddon. Maybe Jon was having doubts about the future, financially, with Matt?

I love Paradise Lost, killer cd. I love how Symphony X has progressed through the years. I do prefer the more aggressive style, it fits them well, and makes them stand alone from most prog metal bands.

Blind Guardian was great, glad I finally got to see them live. Hansi looked to be fighting a cold. He would step off stage and drink something from a cup, looked to be something to help his throat.
