Black Friday 2018

#1 Post by priderock » 31 Oct 2018 12:26

Hi, guys, I'm just about to buy all of the new releases right now, but at the same time it's almost November, so I'm curious if there will be a Black Friday on Nuclear Blast and the new B.G. releases benefit from that?
Any ideas if I have to wait or not? :?

Just asked nuclearblast.de and they said that Black Friday is only in USA. Is that right and there is no Black Friday on "nuclearblast.de and only in US" :? Do you have any idea from the last one in 2017?

Why don't you wait to buy them from the US? Are there prices like 50%off in Black Fridays? You could also check the price of dolar comparing to Euro, the quotation, I mean. Maybe the albums prices in US, for these reaons, end up being cheaper than you expect.

In the 90s, I bought many CDs from USA and Europe because they were cheaper than the local ones.

Yes, if I buy them from nuclearblast.com is probably cheaper till the moment when the delivery price comes - 137 dollars, while from Germany is only 12,5 euro :? It seems that even if there is a Black Friday in US it will be still cheaper to buy them all from Europe. :? Anyway, I'll wait till 22nd November to see if there will be some significant change in the prices and then I'll decide :)

dollars :) You would have to buy 100 albums to lower the cost of delivery to. :)

I wonder why this happens with CDs/LPs and doesn't happen with books. I bought seven Penguin Historical Atlas from England and they were not expensive.

Maybe because Amazon.com has a different relatonship with Amazon.de, comparing to the relationship between nuclearblast.com and .de.

Or there's a very high importing charge embedded in the delivery price.
