+1
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

hekse wrote:By the way: You made me feel old now, mentioning since when you guys are here. For me it's almost 8 1/2 years, wtf...
I'm getting the same feeling here... Almost 8 years (anniversary in about 2 weeks) Man it's been a while
But about the Kankra/Joost/serious discussion thing... It's funny because this kind of theme for a conversation has been a regular. I mean, it pops up every once in a while, and it already did so within 2 years after i registered...
But still, people are here, regularly or not, and even long gone ones check it sometimes so i guess it's either worth it, or at least it used to be such an addiction maker that it's still hard to leave it all behind !

I never really left this place, and i still check it every time i wind up on the web even with the travel. This forum is a really good substitute for a home, and it has nothing to do with the overall percentage of serious discussions :)

i reckon it is due to the balance of seriousness, passion for music and love and fun with spam and games

end of july works for me too. That also might give an advantage for a group to be formed to travel to wacken...

End of july works for me too :D Maybe I can get Tex to come too (we have planned all our trips already, but I have not bought my tickets for july/august yet, so we can still change stuff). But then I need a date soon :)

Any time is fine with me, as far as I can see now.

I don´t think I´ll be around at that time.

Also, I feel that the strong connection I used to have to this forum is slowly fading away. :|

Nah, it´s mainly because of the fact that I don´t have much contact to several forum people anymore.

D'uh :(

I am too in contact with less people than some time ago maybe, but checking out how it's going here has become such an internet habit for me that I am so used to it... even if I post a lot less I'm always around and I always like seeing familiar faces (well, nicknames :P ) around...

Yeah, I know what you mean. It´s almost the same for me, but I always considered this place - in lack for better words - as a second "home". Now with the given situation, I think it will more or less just become a forum I used to post in, some years ago.

Same here... I'm trying to come back every now and then, but it only seems to work when I'm bored :? (no offense though, but the 'chemistry' with this place is missing for me)

billy was a chemist's son, but billy is no more.

what billy thought was H2O, was H2SO4.
