Good news for fans of the LOTR movies.

The trilogy is being released on Bluray this year. Bad news? It's rumored they're just the theatrical versions. Must be they're going to do like they did with the DVD's... release the theatrical versions and then the extended versions 6 months later.

If that's the case, I wonder who the hell is stupid enough to buy this. I would guess most buyers of Blu-Ray discs aren't really the type of people to fall for a half-assed product like this.

Well, I have a PS3. Too bad I don't have an HDTV. :cry:
