Okay, and now I'm going to read the damn book, to actually say something constructive here, because I think this statement is total bullshit.
read all you want, but do notice i'm not talking about the quran, but about muslims. you can shove them in the same corner just as well as christians and the bible because all they do is worship jesus while the first commandment clearly states only god himself should be worshipped ;)

furthermore: go ahead and declare my opinion bullshit, it's a free world :)

There is the question of how should do things. When it comes to having opinions, one should always have the best possible opinion of something, given what one knows and understands about it. You earn your right to have a bad opinion about something by learning about and understanding it. And that last statement pretty clearly shows that you do not understand christianity (and its many forms) at all. I would venture a guess that it's probably worse with islam.
It's very easy to listen to the superficial hate speeches and comic-like villain representation in the media and believe oneself to have "the right opinion", when one understands nothing and is as guilty of intellectual misdemeanor, of craziness, as the people one sets out to hate. There is much wrong with the abrahamitic religions, but by espousing your ignorance and your will to not understand them, you fall in with them on the side of those for whom blind obedience and ignorant faith are virtues.

Bad opinion on x = believing that x is bad.
Which is not the same as the opinion itself being bad.

\o <-- Muhammed
You charge each other for the time and breath it takes to say 'good morning',
But the truth is slowly dawning -- things are getting out of hand,
We all pursue our shattered dreams along the roads to our own ruin --
Watch our empires sink and wash away like castles made of sand.
And so cast off the lies that are your lives and find the truth within.

I think that actually the threads in the Slaughterhouse manage to stay "on point" the longest, some spa(mm)nning several years :) Although, their "points" are quite large.
