The best scorer. But the best player German player in this world cup is Schweinsteiger, followed by Friedrich. A pity nevertheless.

Yes...you are right, Schweinsteiger is better.
And just one player who will miss the next match is way better than I expected...after 7 players with a yellow card before this match.

But I'm a little bit afraid that Trochowski will play on the right wing in the next match.....

I missed the first half, since we came back home late, and I was really worried after the first 15 minutes of the second one, because NOTHING went wright for our team - they just played really bad. But Argentinia wasn't able to get a good oportunity to score nevertheless, and the way we played the last half hour of the match was just brilliant.

I hope Klose will score twice more, to get the lead in "Most goals scored in World Championsships" back from Ronaldo.

Alright...so as expected: Spain will be the opponent in the semifinal.

Will be a tough match and would say it will be tougher than the match against argentina...

Actually Spain weren't even that good this weekend, whereas Germany was superb. I don't see any reason why Spain would win this one.

Because life is a bitch and most definitively so is football? :P but yeah, I totally don't think Spain has already a foot in the final or that they start advantaged.

Nether do I. Germany, get ready to give us our bicycles and hole-less beaches back, because the Dutch are coming for you!

Although it is funny to see that in the international press, the semi-final between Germany and Spain is now being regarded as the true final.

Cause Spain has the potential to play way better than they did so far. As long as both teams play like they did so far, I'm pretty confident that we'll reach the final. But I'm sceptical...also because I don't know how we will compensate the absence of Müller.

the dutch can play at least as well as the germans, maybe even better. the problem this wc is that the dutch have only encountered walls. germany instead have encountered teams that want to attack. against those teams the germans have played very very well (see argentina). so if the dutch can beat the last wall (uruguay) we might be in for a very interesting final with attacking football all over the pitch 8)

Uruguay definitly earned that goal. We play like crap, utter crap. Seriously, if we play like this we don't deserve to win this game at all.

Both goals are awesome looking though. And De Zeeuw has probably quite a headache after that kick to the face.

Shame I can't see the second half because of work :(.

There was nothing lol about that... and even less lol about the ref re-fu-sing to blow the whistle at the end of the second half. Those two minutes were the longest minutes of the entire world cup.

But what gives..... WE REACHED THE FINALS!

it was about time!been waiting to see Holland in the WC finals!now lets hope Germany gives Spain the good ol' kick in the arse, and we might be watching one of the most amazing games ever in the final!

anyway,as fot today's match .. Uruguay resisted well during some moments but the second dutch goal was just too much to handle...uruguay kinda feel asleep.i still hope to see an ending similar to the game with Ghana, but what the hell,Holland derserved to win.

If Germany's on fire tomorrow like they were against Argentina, Spain is in for a slaughter. As far as skills are concerned, the two teams are more or less tied, but Spain has shown practically ZERO passion so far ... I mean, did you guys see the fucking face of Torres when he was substituted the last time ? His face told : "oh well, whatever, I was kinda getting a little bit tired anyway". And the same goes for the rest of the team, somehow there's a veil of indifference over all of them it seems (or is this southern European arrogance instead, I can never tell ?). I see no goddamn emotion, no fire. But they'd better be prepared to show some teeth tomorrow, because the Germans are coming to rip them to shreds if they don't put up a fight. And the reason the Germans survive round after round, again and again, is because passion is what drives them. It's the everlasting engine of die Mannschaft, and I wish our neighbors all the best for tomorrow.

Deutschland, liebe Nachbarn, viel spass und glück morgen, Ich hoffe das wir allen 'auf wiedersehen' gegen Spanien sagen können nach 90 minuten !
