hello everybody!

#1 Post by ra me nivar » 11 Oct 2011 10:53

I made my way out of the freezer!

Kinda like Fry in Futurama, but in a shorter time, being a little less stupid and waking up in a not so cool future: someone put Steve Jobs' head in a jar right now!

Now, who was the fucking moron who closed the refrigerator door when I was inside getting a beer?

Can we post images in this forum now, in the future?

At least, this absent-minded user put you in a marinade with the beer, pepper, laurel, carrots, onion and celery?
Otherwise, it's useless to leave someone in a fridge for long time....

In fact yes, he (or she (or it)) did.

That's why I eventually came out: I ran out of beer and carrots, and it started being boring. Damn refrigerators, it's dark inside if you close the door, and the beers go hot if you let it open.

Hi Sarah!

Long time, wasn't it?

What's happened to me, you ask?

I'm glad you ask.

Putting it short, now I own a dog...
Image
...and I'm owned by a girl, I'm living in the center of the city (which is good if you like to have near you pubs and restaurants and cimenas, as I do, and don't care too much about pollution, as I don't), and the next year I'm going to see published my first book. Finally I'll be able to define myself as novelist, and whatch you, pity mortals, from the glorious heighs of my artistic throne, bhawaha!

All of the rest is like the same than the last time, I guess.

And what about you? What land are you blessing with your steps lately?

Belgium rocks.

I was in Bruges last year and definetively it rocks. Except for that goddamn fucking tower. After climbing all the way up, fog was all around. We almost got a heart-attack for having the amazing views of a grey wall.

Wonderful place except when you want a cup of coffe in the morning, it seems that they think that's frenchie stuff and thus they just don't have it.

I don't know thw reason, but reading about cold, rain and fog in a place northern than us don't surprise me...

Also reading about the horrible coffee outside Italy don't surprise me....
(I've never been in a italian restaurant in a foreign place, but I really regret coffee and extra-vergin olive oil when I'm in a tour...)

As for my own story, the big trip finished last february, after about 27 months !
I'm back in France now, got a journalism job in Paris, and absolutely loving it. Not owning any car, dog or boy, and not being owned by any either. Generally happy, pretty much as usual :)

@Sarah, so, not owning people, I guess that you don't have slaves. That's bad: slaves are good. You can't build a proper Evil Empire without slaves.

And yeah, I am going to be published. I guess that it is a sing of the end of the world getting closer...

But a trip so long is definetively better than owning slaves (or better than owning less than one thousand slaves).

Paris looked like a nice place to live, specially the part with the small streets, the ups and downs and the cool graveyards!

@Gandie, cats are cool unless when you live with someone who is allergic to them, as it is my case :(

But the dog is cool too. He is learning to say "yep" these days. And he is the best in the world hunting tennis balls.

To make things worse, she also love cats.

So a year ago we have this talk...

-We should get a cat! -said she.

-Errr... darling -replied I-, remember when we went to the house of these two friends who own two cats?

-Yeah, Humphrey and Bogart. Two lovely cats, despite the way Bogart stared you like thinking "I would slice your throat if only I were a bit less lazy and were so great lying on my onwner's legs"!

-Oh, yeah, that little psychokiller hairy bastard. Remember that you spent the whole night sneezing and so?

-Oh. We should get a dog!

And we got a dog.
